The course involves 2 three hour instructional sessions, which will be supervised by one of the clubs instructors or leaders. They will take you through the basics of Safety, Archery Equipment and Technique. This is followed by a further 3 lessons to boost confidence. Margam Archery Club meet on a Monday evening  in Margam Park, where we welcome potential new members.

Margam Archers requires a parent, or guardian to become a senior member and must be present and responsible for the junior members conduct at all times. If you are thinking of taking up ARCHERY, as a serious sport or as a hobby pastime, you are strongly advised not to buy any equipment until you have completed the Beginners Course and are familiar with the different types of equipment available.

Beginners courses are available for anyone interested in ARCHERY. The courses we run are suitable for men and women, girls and boys.

The full course of lessons cost £25 to cover insurance. We have fine instructors who will guide you through the procedures including all the safety aspects.
